Panthers land Brody Sutter from Hurricanes in exchange for Connor Brickley

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced Tuesday that the Panthers have acquired forward Brody Sutter from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for forward Connor Brickley.

The 25-year old Sutter played in eight games with Carolina during the 2015-16 season and played in 70 games with Carolina's American Hockey League affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, recording 24 points (13-11-24). Sutter has played in 12 career NHL games, all with Carolina.

The 6-foot-5, 203-pound native of Viking, Alberta was originally selected by Carolina in the seventh round (193rd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
