Panthers trade Bolland, Crouse to to Coyotes for draft picks
FLORIDA PANTHERS PRESS RELEASE
SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Florida Panthers announced Wednesday that the club has acquired two draft picks from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forwards Dave Bolland and Lawson Crouse.
Florida will receive a 2017 third round draft pick and, subject to trade conditions, either Arizona's 2018 second round draft pick or an additional 2017 third round draft pick.
"Steve Werier and Eric Joyce have been working the phones with Arizona for the past few weeks and came to Dale and I late last night with what they felt was a fair return for the cap, contract space and picks we received. Today's transaction creates significant cap space for us in each of the next three NHL seasons, while simultaneously giving us the ability to add more good, young players to a farm system we know we need to improve," said General Manager Tom Rowe. "We plan to use this cap space to continue to aggressively build on the steps we took this summer to construct a championship-caliber roster here in South Florida today and well into the future."
The Florida Panthers open the regular season at the BB&T Center on Oct. 13 against the New Jersey Devils. Full and partial ticket packages are now available that include flexible payment plans. In addition, single game suites and group pricing are available for the 2016-17 season. Please call (954) 835- PUCK (7825) or visit FloridaPanthers.com/TicketCentral to purchase your ticket plan.
