Parise adds to history of Minnesota Wild hat tricks

Published Oct. 9, 2015 1:00 p.m. ET

Zach Parise recorded the 19th hat trick in Minnesota Wild history Thursday night in a 5-4 win over Colorado. It was the ninth to occur on the road and the third to come against the Colorado Avalanche, the most versus any opponent.

Parise's hat trick certainly was incredible, especially considering the circumstances of a comeback, but it wasn't the first time a Minnesota player has notched a hat trick in the season opener.

Also, did you know that those that assisted on Parise's goals -- Mikael Granlund, Jason Pominville, Matt Dumba and Ryan Suter -- have all been involved in Minnesota hat tricks.
