SAN DIEGO -- FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will debut a new episode of #SDLive tonight following live coverage of San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants, featuring Padres Interim Manager, Pat Murphy.
#SDLive host Mike Pomeranz chats with one-on-one with Murphy about his upbringing and how that has shaped him into the man he is today. Murphy discusses how he is settling in to San Diego and shares who he would describe as his inspirations.
In addition, Murphy talks about his collegiate career and coaching players into the big leagues. He chats about topics including the trade deadline, a potential post-season push and his one game at a time mentality.
Murphy's 14-year-old son Kai joined the show to talk about their family dynamic, what it is like to have a dad as a Major League Manager and where he was when they found out he was heading to San Diego.
