David Peralta wasn't supposed to make it to the major league, remember.
He was a pitcher who got hurt, had to switch positions and three years ago was playing in the independent leagues.
But Peralta caught the eye of the Diamondbacks and one year ago today -- June 1, 2014 -- was called up to the big leagues from Double-A. Now a mainstay in the D-backs four-headed outfield with 28 starts and 34 appearances this season, Peralta on Monday looked back on his debut in a Twitter post.
