Prevc wins 2nd stage of Four Hills Tour

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) Peter Prevc of Slovenia soared 136 meters in the second heat to win the second leg of the ski jumping Four Hills Tour on Friday.
The victory puts Prevc in the lead as the competition heads for the final two events in Austria.
Prevc led Severin Freund of Germany after the first heat with an effort of 133.5 meters and then produced the longest jump of the day. He finished with a winning total of 272.7 points.
Freund, who won the opening leg in Oberstdorf three days ago, dropped to third, behind Kenneth Gangnes of Norway, who had a second effort of 134 meters. Gangnes jumped 132 meters in the first heat for a total of 260.1 points.

Freund collected 256.8 points for jumps of 133.5 and 132.5 meters.
