CINCINNATI -- The Reds game against Los Angeles Tuesday night was placed in a rain delay before the first pitch was delivered.

Game time was scheduled at 7:10 p.m. but the teams, umpires and Great American Ball Park officials decided to wait until 7:30 to meet and discuss options. This is the 10th rain delay of the season for the Reds at home covering eight games. Two games have been rained out (April 28 vs. Cubs and May 14 vs. Padres) after only seven games had been postponed in the first 11 seasons of GABP.

The game against San Diego was made up as part of a doubleheader the next day. The Reds and Cubs will make up their postponement as part of a day-night doubleheader on July 8.

The Reds also had a game against Pittsburgh on April 14 postponed after six innings and completed the next day.
