Redshirt sophomore Dearring announces intent to leave Badgers

Redshirt sophomore Riley Dearring has announced on Twitter his intention to leave the Wisconsin Badgers basketball program. The 6-foot-5, 182-pound guard has played in three games with the Badgers this season.

After redshirting the 2013-14 season, the Minnetonka, Minn., native had 11 points, four rebounds and one assist in 39 minutes over 15 games last year.

Dearring and his father, former University of Virginia basketball player Darren Dearring, were both Minnesota Mr. Basketball finalists.
