Report: Florida, Miami to battle in Orlando in 2019

In-state rivals Florida and Miami are reportedly close to signing a deal to play in Orlando's Citrus Bowl in 2019, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Gators and Hurricanes would faceoff for the first time since 2013 when Miami pulled out a 21-16 victory. Miami leads the all-time series 29-26, winning seven of the past eight games.

Both programs competed annually until 1987, when Florida dropped Miami from the schedule, citing its Southeastern Conference slate.

The neutral site game would join two others already confirmed at the Citrus Bowl: Florida State and Ole Miss match up in 2016, while Alabama and Louisville compete in 2018.
