One of the Reds' highly-touted prospects will make his second career start Tuesday night.
The team announced that Robert Stephenson has been called up from Triple-A Louisville and will get the ball for the Reds in Game 2 of their series with the Colorado Rockies.
The 23-year-old will make the spot start in place of Alfredo Simon, who has right biceps tendinitis but is expected to make his next start, according to the Reds.
Stephenson earned a win in his first MLB start on April 7 vs. the Phillies, allowing three earned runs over five innings.
