San Diego Buzz: Chargers host Raiders and SDSU hosts Utah State

SAN DIEGO -- Coming off the second heartbreaking loss in a row for the San Diego Chargers, the Bolts are preparing for this Sunday's matchup against the Oakland Raiders at Qualcomm Stadium. Still hot in people's minds though is Philip Rivers' incredible passing performance in Green Bay. Hopefully for the Chargers, they can continue their recent streak and win their fourth straight against the rivals to the North.

The Raiders know it will face a tough task in defending Rivers and the Chargers' league leading passing game, and have also brought in a return specialist with the hopes of jump starting their own offense.

Mayor Kevin Faulconer expressed his appreciation for Gov. Jerry Brown for approving an accelerated judicial review process for any lawsuits filed against the project's environmental impact report. Feeling stiff-armed by the Chargers, Faulconer has gone straight to the NFL in his pursuit of keeping the Bolts in San Diego.
