Schmaltz injury leads to Blues' emergency recall of D Chris Butler

The St. Louis Blues recalled defenseman Chris Butler from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage under emergency conditions Saturday.
The emergency is the upper-body injury that defenseman Jordan Schmaltz suffered Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Butler, 31, has played in two games with the Blues this season. The native St. Louisan leads Rampage defensemen with 29 points (eight goals, 21 assists) in 60 games.
