Sergei Bobrovsky's new mask will make your eyes pop
A mask can say a lot about a goaltender. It sure does in the case of the Columbus Blue Jackets' Sergei Bobrovsky.
The Blue Jackets showed off the netminder's new mask in a video Wednesday. It features the team's goal-scoring cannon along with more connections to both the Jackets and Bobrovsky's Russian roots.

Opponents will have no doubt whom they have to beat with "BOB" emblazoned on the front.
But the coolest element? Definitely the Russian matryoshka doll firing off the cannon.
It's not the first time Bobrovsky has melded the two worlds of the NHL and Mother Russia. He's included a Russian flag on one side of his Jackets mask each of the past two seasons.

Bobrovsky will soon be sporting the mask as the Blue Jackets begin preseason play Monday, then the regular season Oct. 9.
