For being away from Los Angeles since 1994, the LA Rams sure know how to throw a party in downtown LA. On Thursday, the Rams hosted the first NFL Draft party in LA in over 20 years and started it off with a bang by selecting quarterback Jared Goff of Cal with No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Rams faithful came out in force to see their team kickoff the draft in style. Over a thousand fans lined up a full two hours before the opening of the event at LA Live, with some arriving as early as 10am to reserve their spot in line.
