Sooners QB Mayfield's girlfriend attends rival school
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield appeared on "The Dan Patrick Show" Tuesday morning and he told the story of his playing days from high school to Texas Tech to Oklahoma.
Mayfield, of course, talked about last week's big win at Tennessee, too and Patrick joked about if Mayfield was lacking in confidence.
"Not at all," Mayfield said.
But the most-interesting back-and-forth between Mayfield and Patrick was when Patrick asked about Mayfield's girlfriend who goes to rival school Oklahoma State.
"That's her downfall," Mayfield joked.
"What if she went to Texas?," Patrick asked.
"That's even worse," Mayfield said in response.
Mayfield said his girlfriend goes to all the Oklahoma State games and when the Sooners travel to OSU later this season, she'll be there dressed in Cowboy orange and black.
"She keeps it real," Mayfield said.
