T.J. Yeldon uncertain for Jaguars against Falcons
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars won't know the status of rookie running back T.J. Yeldon until later this week.
Yeldon sprained his left knee Sunday against Indianapolis, left the stadium on crutches and was scheduled to undergo tests Monday. The former Alabama star also is dealing with a sprained right ankle and a groin injury.
The Jaguars (5-8) host Atlanta (6-7) on Sunday.
Coach Gus Bradley says Yeldon "got his knee got bent a little bit" against the Colts and was unable to return to the game. Bradley says general manager Dave Caldwell is considering bringing in another running back since Jacksonville already has Toby Gerhart, Bernard Pierce and Corey Grant on injured reserve.
Denard Robinson would start if Yeldon can't play against the Falcons.
