TCU quaterback Trevone Boykin issued an apology via his Twitter account Thursday night after the star QB was arrested in San Antonio.
"Words can't describe how sorry I truely am," the tweet starts. "I truely let down my family, my teammates and the TCU and Fort Worth communities that have supported me so much."

Boykin was charged with assulting a public servant, a third degree felony, and was suspended by the school from Saturday's Valero Alamo Bowl against the Oregon Ducks.
"We are disappointed in their actions and apologize to the TCU Horned Frogs Nation, Valero Alamo Bowl and the city of San Antonio," TCU head coach Gary Patterson said in a statement on Thursday.
Junior wide receiver Preston Miller was also suspended for the game.
