Blake Griffin's first-ever NBA experience was a Spurs game at 'like eight or nine years old.'
Seeing San Antonio legend Tim Duncan warming up, even from the rafters, left a lasting impression on Griffin.
Fast forward to his debut preseason game for the Clippers and Griffin realizes he's going to line up vs. Duncan.

'I had to tell myself, "I'm about to literally line up across from this guy. I'm about to guard Tim Duncan. This is happening."
On Wednesday, Griffin penned a farewell later to the retiring Duncan in The Players' Tribune, where Griffin thanked Duncan for giving him his 'holy sh*t' moment as an NBA rookie.
