Tied no more: Pujols passes Reggie Jackson on all-time HR list and then some

Move over Mr. October 'cause Albert's not stopping anytime soon.

A day after moving into a tie for 13th place with Reggie Jackson on the all-time home run list, Albert Pujols told reporters before the Angels took on the Royals that records were for worrying about in retirement. To prove it, the Angels slugger went out and promptly passed Jackson with home run No. 564 and then added one more homer for good measure.

Pujols, who was stuck in a 0-26 slump before hitting the home run that tied Jackson, now has five big flys this season.

Not to be totally outdone, teammate Mike Trout added a home run of his own and the Angels defeated the World Champions 6-1.
