Tigers' Sanchez does epic impersonation of Twins' Hunter
On the mound, Detroit Tigers veteran Anibal Sanchez is usually all business. Sanchez, after all, had a no-hitter while with the Marlins back in 2006, and he once struck out 17 batters in a game with the Tigers.
On Friday afternoon, however, Sanchez showed off his comedic chops.
In the midst of a Twins batting-practice session, Sanchez took the chance to rib current Minnesota standout Torii Hunter — a former teammate of Sanchez's in Detroit from 2013-14.
Back on June 10, Hunter was ejected at Target Field in a 7-2 loss to Kansas City after being called out on strikes and angrily threw his batting gloves and jersey to the turf.
Friday in Minneapolis, while Hunter took his BP swings, Sanchez performed some rather memorable prop comedy, impersonating Hunter's actions.
Of course, like any good comedian, Sanchez took it a step further, and hilarity ensued, as seen in this accompanying video. Which was all fun and good for the Twins, so long as Sanchez doesn't undress them at the plate as well.
H/T to FOX's Joe Davis, who tweeted out the video below.
