Tony Stewart, racing in his final Crown Royal 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will wear a special helmet that pays tribute to his hero, four-time Indianapolis 500 champion A.J. Foyt.
Foyt autographed the helmet and added a message to the driver nicknamed 'Smoke', saying: "Tony, Do what you like. Your friend, A.J."
Stewart has been racing with a variety of different helmets throughout the season, but he noted the one this weekend is extra special.
"I’m keeping this one because it is my last race here," Stewart said Friday before practice.
