Top-seeded Frenchman upset in squash semifinals in New York

NEW YORK (AP) Simon Rosner of Germany upset No. 1 Gregory Gaultier of France in the squash semifinals of the Tournament of Champions.

The No. 8 Rosner will face No. 7 Tarek Momen of Egypt in the final Thursday night at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal.

Rosner defeated Gaultier 9-11, 12-10, 11-8, 11-1 on Wednesday night. Momen rallied past No. 3 compatriot Ali Farag 11-3, 2-11, 14-12, 6-11, 11-9.

The women's final will feature two Egyptians - No. 1 Nour El Sherbini and No. 8 Nour El Tayeb.

El Sherbini beat No. 4 Laura Massaro of England 4-11, 12-10, 11-4, 11-8. El Tayeb upset defending champion and No. 3 Camille Serme of France 12-10, 11-6, 11-3.
