Karl-Anthony Towns is the NBA's Western Conference Rookie of the Month once again.

The Minnesota Timberwolves center led all rookies in scoring in December with 18.6 points per game, as well as rebounds (9.6 per game), field goals percentage (55.3) and minutes played (30.4 per game), while making 32 consecutive free throws.

Towns also racked up eight double-doubles in December, more than any other rookie, and good enough for sixth amongst all NBA players.

The former No. 1 overall pick had five games with more than 25 points and 10 rebounds, the most for a rookie in a single month since Tim Duncan turned the same trick in March, 1998.
