Tracy McGrady will be next inductee in Orlando Magic Hall of Fame
Tracy McGrady averaged 28.1 points, 7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 295 games played with the Orlando Magic from 2000 to 2004.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Magic will induct perennial NBA All-Star and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady into their Hall of Fame on Tuesday, March 20 at 4 p.m. in Amway Center, near the Nutrilite Magic Fan Experience. McGrady becomes the seventh inductee into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame.
In addition to the induction ceremony, McGrady will be honored that night during Orlando’s game vs. Toronto. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. and tickets are available through OrlandoMagic.com or by calling 1-800-4-NBATIX.

McGrady played in 295 games (294 starts) during his four seasons with the Magic (2000-04), averaging 28.1 ppg., 7.0 rpg., 5.2 apg. and 1.53 stlpg. in 39.4 minpg. While with Orlando, he was a two-time All-NBA First Team selection (2001-02, 2002-03), a two-time All-NBA Second Team selection (2000-01, 2003-04), a four-time NBA All-Star (2001-04), led the NBA in scoring twice (2002-03, 32.1 ppg.; 2003-04, 28.0 ppg.) and was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 2000-01.
McGrady’s scoring average of 28.1 ppg. remains the highest in Orlando Magic history. He also stands among the franchise’s all-time leaders in free throws made (second, 1,819), points (third, 8,298), free throws attempted (fourth, 2,368), field goals attempted (fourth, 6,689), field goals made (fifth, 2,985), steals (sixth, 452), assists (seventh, 1,533), blocked shots (seventh, 292), rebounds (eighth, 2,067), three-point field goals attempted (eighth, 1,410), three-point field goals made (ninth, 509) and minutes played (tenth, 11,628). McGrady was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September 2017.
The Magic unveiled its inaugural Hall of Fame class on April 9, 2014 naming the first two inductees, Magic co-founder and Senior Vice President Pat Williams and the team’s first-ever draft pick and current community ambassador, Nick Anderson. In 2015, Shaquille O’Neal became the third member inducted, while Senior Chairman Rich DeVos joined the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame in 2016. Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway and “founding father” Jimmy Hewitt were inducted last season.
The Orlando Magic Hall of Fame honors and celebrates the great players, coaches and executives who have had a major impact during the team’s illustrious 29-year history. The HOF bridges the past with the future of Magic basketball, and the exhibit, located in Amway Center on the terrace level near Nutrilite Magic Fan Experience, provides Magic fans an opportunity to learn some Magic history while in the building. The inductees are selected based on their overall on and off the court contributions to the team and organization, years of service, impact in the community and general character of the individual.
