Twins reach home run milestone in win over Yankees
The Minnesota Twins shelled the New York Yankees on Sunday at Target Field, with six difference players hitting home runs.
It was the first time since 1963 that six different players have homered in the same game, and just the third time in franchise history.
The Twins last reached the milestone during a win over the Washington Senators in 1963, as Harmon Killebrew homered in back-to-back innings to lead Minnesota to a 14-2 win.

And while the Twins will probably have a tough time duplicating that feat when they take on the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, first baseman Joe Mauer mas managed to crank out plenty of extra-base hits in Chicago over the years.
Mauer ranks fourth all-time in doubles hit against the White Sox, and trails his own manager -- Paul Molitro -- by just two hits.

It's been a rough season for starting pitcher Kyle Gibson, but while the 28 year old right-hander is winless in five starts, he has a history of success against the White Sox.
Gibson has a 4-1 record and a 2.06 ERA in seven career starts against the White Sox, the third-lowest such mark in franchise history when facing Chicago, including a 3-0 record with a 2.22 ERA at U.S Cellular Field.
