Two Team USA practices in Columbus to be open to public
COLUMBUS, OH – In advance of World Cup of Hockey 2016, USA Hockey and the Columbus Blue Jackets announced today Team USA’s practice schedule for its September 5-9 training camp at Nationwide Arena. The week includes daily practices and a pre-tournament game against Team Canada on Friday, September 9 at 7 p.m. In addition, Team USA’s practices on Wednesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 8 will be open to the public and free of charge.

Monday, September 5: 1-2:45 p.m.
Tuesday, September 6: 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

*Thursday, September 8: 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Friday: 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.

Team USA, which will be led by Blue Jackets Head Coach John Tortorella, includes Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky and defenseman Jack Johnson.
The World Cup of Hockey 2016 is set for September 17-October 1 in Toronto. Including the U.S., the eight teams participating in the tournament will include Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Team Europe and Team North America. Beyond the Blue Jackets representing Team USA, four others have been named to rosters with Brandon Saad, Ryan Murray and Seth Jones set to play for North America and Sergei Bobrovsky competing for Team Russia. Also, Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen will serve as assistant general manager for Team Finland.
