Vikings post-combine, free agency mock draft roundup

Vikings post-combine, free agency mock draft roundup

Published Apr. 7, 2017 12:28 p.m. ET

It took a while, but we're back with our second look at who the experts around the web think the Minnesota Vikings will select in the upcoming NFL Draft.

We waited a bit because this year the combine and the start of free agency were so close together, so might as well wait until we got past all that.

We did. So here were are.

You'll definitely see some differences from our first mock roundup, and when using a mock which we had last time the previous pick(s) are denoted.

One thing that hasn’t changed: It is hard to find too many mocks for Minnesota since it has no first-round pick and those that do think the Vikings still need help on the offensive line, despite a couple of free-agent signings.

But there is something new -- a couple of mocks have Minnesota selecting running back Joe Mixon, who many teams likely won't even have on their draft board after video surfaced recently of him hitting a woman (from an incident that happened a few years back).

Even with the Vikings signing Latavius Murray, that could turn out to be just a one-year deal, and Minnesota could need a young running back of the future in any case. Should they draft Mixon? In what round? No doubt Mixon will be one of the storylines of this year's draft.

Here's the second roundup of mock drafts from around web. I dare you to find a more complete list anywhere on the internet (listed in order of most recent to oldest; any mocks from before free agency and/or the combine not included):
