Vikings Snap Counts: Safeties struggle without Sendejo
After a humbling loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7 it wasn't necessarily a surprise to see the Minnesota Vikings' offense struggle again in Chicago.
However, watching quarterback Jay Culter and running back Jordan Howard pick apart their top-ranked defense was a little more concerning.
Safety Jayron Kearse logged his first career start after Andrew Sendejo was ruled out with an ankle injury, but quickly lost the spot to Anthony Harris.
Meanwhile, their offense struggled to stay on the field, completing just 61 plays, with seven of their 10 drives ending in punts, including their first five.
Check out the Vikings' offensive and defensive snaps below, as well as some additional notes on the game.

-- It looks like Stefon Diggs has put any lingering concerns about his groin injury to rest. He was on the field for 55 of the Vikings' 63 offensive plays in Chicago.
-- Charles Johnson's usage has held steady at 25-30 percent since his Week 4 drop-off, but his production has fallen off a cliff. He wasn't targeted Sunday.
-- Laquon Treadwell's usage seemed to be on the rise earlier this season, but was a no-show again Sunday. He hasn't been on the field since Week 5.
-- Fullback Zach Line was on the field just eight percent of the time Sunday, a season low.
-- Kearse started in place of Sendejo but was on the field for just 15 plays.
-- Fellow safety Anthony Harris got most of the work, playing on 48 snaps.
-- Linebacker Chad Greenway was on the field 56 percent of the time on defense, his busiest game of the season.
