WATCH: Actor Michael B. Jordan got knocked out for real during 'Creed' filming
Whatever Michael B. Jordan is getting paid for his role as Apollo Creed's son Adonis Johnson, he earned it.
"Creed," the seventh installment in the "Rocky" series, hit theaters on Nov. 25 to excellent reviews from critics and moviegoers alike. Some of that reception probably because the action looks real.
How real? Sylvester Stallone shared a clip from Creed's filming that shows Jordan in the ring with an opponent, almost blindly taking a right hook that sends him limp to the mat like Holly Holm did with her leg to Ronda Rousey.
Although we don't know if Jordan actually lost consciousness, Stallone described the shot as "getting KO'd for real!" Sly also indicates that Jordan took that shot/fall more than once. Ouch.

According to co-star Gabriel Rosado, a former WBO light middleweight champ, Jordan became a pretty solid boxer for the role, too.
"Michael can throw down, man," Rosado told TMZ Sports. "If you sleep on him in the street, he might put you to sleep."
