WATCH: Darryl Sutter has some fun with reporters following Kings' win

Published Jan. 2, 2016 10:55 p.m. ET

LA Kings coach Darryl Sutter is widely known around the NHL as a man of few words. But after having to move his postgame press conference to the visitor's locker room on Saturday, he couldn't help cracking a few jokes with reporters.

The Kings had a rare 1pm start against the Flyers at Staples Center to give the arena crew time to tear down the ice before the Clippers played later. As a result, Sutter was relegated to the Flyers' dressing room for his postgame meeting with reporters.

After telling reports they should all get out of there, the coach added he was a bit worried walking by the Flyers players following his team's win saying "they're all a foot taller, could beat the hell out of me."

Following the laughs, Sutter returned to his more low-key style to finish the interview.
