Watch: Giants OL Pugh unleashes two uppercuts on DE Moore during camp scuffle
Some hallmark training-camp infighting came to the New York Giants facility on Monday when offensive lineman Justin Pugh and defensive end Damontre Moore exchanged blows after a play.
According to Newsday Giants beat writer Tom Rock, Pugh stuck his leg out and tripped Moore. Check out what unfolded:
That's some real spiciness from Pugh who spent part of his offseason training focusing on wrestling and boxing moves at the MMA Athletics training center run by FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer.
"I gained an advantage," Pugh said recently. "I was able to work on a mentality out there, a fighter's mentality. You go across from a guy and you make it a long day for him. You're going to make that guy wish he didn't go up against you."
Once Moore shoved his 2013 draft classmate, Pugh let the uppercuts fly.
Glazer's assessment of the student?
Hitting a helmet is stupid :) RT @TomRock_Newsday: Pugh and Damontre trade haymakers. Pugh w some uppercuts. Courtesy of @JayGlazer no doubt
