WATCH: NL ROY voting meets 'Karate Kid' with Kris Bryant as Daniel in funny mashup

On Monday, the Baseball Writers' Association of America announced that Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant won the NL Rookie of the Year award in a landslide vote.

Called up in mid-April, the 23-year-old Bryant hit .275 and led all rookies with 26 home runs, 31 doubles and 99 RBI.

Anyhow, there's a "Karate Kid" interpretation of the voting process. We're not sure what motivated it, but it exists and it's amusing. The video shows Bryant as Daniel in the montage scene set to "You're the Best" from the original "Karate Kid".
