Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips and first baseman Joey Votto like to have a little bit of fun while playing beside each other on the right side of the infield.
Sometimes, they almost knock each other over while catching fly balls.
And, sometimes they like to make fun of each other. Usually it's Phillips who is the jokester, but on Saturday it was Votto's turn.
On a lazy fly ball to second base, Votto imitated Phillips as he made the play.
And Phillips loved it.
Phillips' streak: Brandon Phillips hit safely for the 31st straight game while playing as a visitor against the New York Mets. The streak is longest by a player to start a career since 1914. Joe Medwick holds the record by hitting safely in 46 games at the Los Angeles Dodgers while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.
