WEEK 10 FANTASY FOOTBALL RANKINGS
Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings are here! Buffalo, Detroit, Indianapolis and Oakland are all on bye. This bodes well for managers who have their starters from Arizona and New England returning. The season is over the halfway mark and we have seen plenty of surprises in the fantasy world. Players like Jay Ajayi have emerged as studs while many other running backs have been lost to injury. Who sits atop the Week 10 Rankings? Let’s start by examining Quarterbacks.
WEEK 10 QB RANKINGS
Jay Cutler is in a good spot to have some success this weekend. Cutler gets to take on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has been terrible against the pass this season. Tampa Bay has given up the 5th most points to quarterbacks all season.
Cutler provided a surge to the Bears when they upset the Vikings last week. One of Cutler’s greatest attributes is his willingness to actually throw the ball to Alshon Jeffrey. Jeffrey is the Bears greatest weapon on offense and he should receive the ball frequently. Jordan Howard had a resurgence last week with Cutler leading the offense. Could the return of Cutler be just what the Bears needed?
The usual cast of characters sits atop the QB rankings. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan are all in line for stellar weeks. The QB position has seen very consistent play from the elite QB’s this season.
WEEK 10 RB RANKINGS
David Johnson is off bye. This will be good news to all of those fantasy managers who happen to have him on their team. I have him as the number one RB for the week. Johnson has had an absolutely incredible season. Johnson already has 1112 all purpose yards on the season.
The Cardinals have a match up with the San Francisco 49ers who have not looked good against any position fantasy wise. The 49ers are in the top 10 for giving up points against QB’s, RB’s, WR’s, and TE’s. START YOUR KEY ARIZONA CARDINAL PLAYERS THIS WEEK!
Jordan Howard had a stellar game before the Bears’ Week 9 bye. Howard will look to continue his momentum against the awful Bucs. I think Howard is in line for a good Week 10 performance.
Devontae Booker will look to try and hold down the Denver Broncos backfield. Booker had a horrible game last week and some are speculating he will lose time to Kapri Bibbs.
WEEK 10 WR RANKINGS
The Minnesota Vikings are a frustrating team for fantasy owners. Neither Jerrick McKinnon nor Matt Asiata have taken ahold of the RB position while Adrian Peterson has been injured. The only players that appear to be useful on the Vikes offense are Stefon Diggs and Kyle Rudolph.
Diggs has been a target machine. Diggs was targeted 14 times last week, hauling in 13 catches for 80 yards. Although he has not scored a ton of touchdowns this season he has been providing fantasy players with solid yardage. I think if Diggs is the cornerstone of your receiving corps you may be in trouble, but you can now safely slot him in as your every week WR3 in 3 wide leagues.
I believe that the usual cast of characters deserve to sit atop the Week 10 WR Rankings. Antonio Brown has Big Ben back at QB which should help his performance. Brown scored a touchdown last week but has not exactly been tearing it up. Is Brown due for a big week?
WEEK 10 TE RANKINGS
A tight end I like this week is C.J. Fiedorowicz. The Texans TE has been very productive this season. He has scored three touchdowns since Week 4 and hauled in at least four catches a game. Fiedorowicz seems to be a player that Brock Osweiler likes to target. The Texans travel to take on a Jacksonville Jaguar team that has look poor on defense this season.
The top TE this week is Rob Gronkowski. Gronk will sit atop the TE rankings for the rest of the season. The only way Gronk leaves the top spot in TE Rankings is if he suffers an injury.
It is crunch time in the Fantasy Football season. I play in three leagues and am in very different situations in all. I am in the hunt for 1st in a 12 person IDP league with 8 playoff spots, safely in a playoff spot in a 12 person flex league with 4 playoff spots, and have to win out in a flex where 6 teams make the playoffs. Hopefully all of you are in the playoff hunt, and these rankings can help you out! Regardless of fantasy performance, there should be plenty of exciting Week 10 football games!
