Wild agree to terms with defenseman Bartley

The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with free-agent defenseman Victor Bartley on a one-year, two-way contract ($650,000/$350,000).

Bartley played one game with the Nashville Predators and nine with the Montreal Canadiens last season and scored one goal and added three assists in 24 games in the AHL. The 6-foot, 215-pound native of Ottawa, Ont., has one goal, 22 assists and 61 penalty minutes in 121 career NHL games during parts four seasons with Nashville (2012-16) and Montreal (2015-16). He appeared in four playoff games with Nashville in 2014-15.

The 28-year-old Bartley signed as a free agent with Nashville in may 2011. He has totaled 71 points in 172 career AHL games over five seasons.
