Wild cut training camp roster to 42 players

The Minnesota Wild have reduced their training camp roster to 42 players, general manager Chuck Fletcher announced Thursday.

The team assigned Brady Brassart, Grayson Downing, Pavel Jenys, Nick Seeler and Steve Michalek to the Iowa Wild. It also released Nick Saracino from his amateur tryout contract. He will report to training camp for the Iowa Wild.

The Wild continue their preseason Thursday night vs. the Winnipeg Jets.
