Wild prospect Luke Kunin nets hat trick in third AHL game
Luke Kunin's stay in the AHL may be a short one.
Kunin had a hat trick Tuesday night in just his third game with the Iowa Wild, scoring the first three goals of his pro career to lead his new team to a 4-0 victory over the Rockford IceHogs.

The 19-year-old turned pro last week after two seasons at the University of Wisconsin, forgoing his final two years of eligibility to sign with the Wild, who selected Kunin 15th overall in 2016.
Kunin is currently signed to an amateur tryout, but could join Minnesota next season when his entry-level contract kicks in.
A native of Chesterfield, Missouri, Kunin led the Badgers in goals as a freshman before being named the second sophomore captain in program history.
He led the resurgent Badgers to a second-place finish in the Big Ten, racking up 38 points in just 35 games, and helping Wisconsin to the conference championship game.
