Wild recall eight players from AHL

The Minnesota Wild have recalled a whopping eight players from their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, ahead of Game 3 of their Western Conference playoff series against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.

The list includes forwards Grayson Downing, Kurtis Gabriel, Tyler Graovac and Zack Mitchell, as well as defensemen Zach Palmquist, Tyson Strachan and Hunter Warner.

Goaltender Stephen Michalek will also join the big club.

Mitchell led Iowa in scoring this season with 42 points (22 goals), while Downing finished second with 40 points (19 goals).
