TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon went out of the No. 16 Wildcats' game Saturday night against No. 9 UCLA after taking a hit to the head.

Solomon, a sophomore, was injured in the second quarter after sliding and being hit by the thigh pad of a UCLA defender. The school did not make an announcement about Solomon's condition, but he was not on the sideline for the second half.

Solomon threw for 55 yards and a touchdown on 4-of-10 passing before his injury. He threw for 778 yards and 10 touchdowns with no interceptions in Arizona's first three games.
