Wild's Dubnyk earns NHL honor for March

Goalie Devan Dubnyk was key to the Minnesota Wild's resurgence this past month, posting a 10-2-1 record, a 2.06 goals-against average and .927 save percentage 14 appearances.

On Friday, the NHL recognized him for his efforts, naming him one of the league's three starts for the month of March.

Dubnyk propelled the Wild to a 10-4-1 record on the month, helping them leapfrog the Colorado Avalance in the race for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. The 29-year-old yielded two or fewer goals in nine of his 14 outings, highlighted by a 29-save shutout March 26 against the Avalanche.

Dubnyk owns a 32-23-6 record with a 2.30 goals-against average, .920 save percentage and five shutouts in 63 games this season. He is just the third goalie in Wild history to reach 30 wins in a season.

Dubnyk shared the honors with Sidney Crosby and Brent Burns, a former Minnesota Wild defenseman.
