Wild’s Dubnyk listed as week-to-week
The Minnesota Wild listed goaltender Devan Dubnyk as week-to-week with a lower-body injury Thursday, making Alex Stalock the top option between the pipes until Dubnyk is fully healthy.
Dubnyk started Minnesota's 2-1 shootout win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night, but he left the game after the first period. Stalock finished off the victory and now owns a 4-3-1 record with a .907 save percentage and 2.93 goals-against average.
To serve as Stalock's backup, Minnesota recalled goaltender Steve Michalek under emergency conditions from the Iowa Wild on Thursday. Michalek, a sixth-round pick by the Wild in 2011, has a 6-1-2 record with a 2.52 goals-against average at Iowa this season. He has yet to appear in a NHL game.
The Wild face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday night.
