Here are some notes, tidbits and stats heading for Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Iowa Hawkeyes:
-- This is the 89th meeting between Wisconsin and Iowa with the Badgers leading the all-time series 44-42-2 including 26-18-1 in Madison. However, these teams haven't met at Camp Randall Stadium since 2009.
-- Wisconsin has won 10 consecutive home games.
-- The Badgers have not allowed a touchdown in 188 minutes, 2 seconds.
-- Under Paul Chryst this season, Wisconsin is 3-0 when scoring first, 0-1 when the opponent scores first, 3-0 when leading after the first quarter, 0-1 when trailing after the first quarter, 3-0 when leading at halftime, 0-1 when trailing at halftime, 3-0 when leading after the third quarter and 0-1 when trailing after the third quarter.
-- A Badgers tight end hasn't had a 100-yard receiving game since Lance Kendricks did it in back-to-back weeks in 2010 vs. Arizona State on Sept. 18 and Austin Peay on Sept. 25, a 68-game drought.
-- Iowa is one of three FBS teams (Navy, the other) yet to allow a rushing touchdown this season.
-- Wisconsin has allowed three or fewer points in three straight games. The last FBS team to accomplish that feat in four consecutive games was Oklahoma, which did it five straight from Oct. 18-Nov. 15, 1986.
-- Taiwan Deal's four rushing touchdowns are tied for second-most by any freshman in FBS this season.
-- Wisconsin had has 26 100-yard rushers against Iowa, including four of over 200 (Ron Dayne, Billy Marek (twice) and Melvin Gordon, who did it last season).
-- In the past 10 games vs. Iowa, the Badgers have had only four 100-yard rushers. They are 3-1 in those games, with the loss in 2003. Wisconsin is 2-4 in games vs. Iowa without a 100-yard rusher during that span.
-- Wisconsin has had 11 200-yard passers against Iowa. The last one to do so was Scott Tolzien in 2010. The last at home was John Stocco in 2005. The last in a home win was Brooks Bollinger in 2001.
-- Wisconsin has had 10 100-yard receiver against Iowa, but none since Luke Swan in 2006.
-- Joel Stave had had 20 games in which he has thrown at least 19 passes. In those 19, he has thrown at least one interception in 15 of them.
-- Stave needs 3 passing touchdowns to tie John Stocco for 2nd place on UW's all-time list.
-- Alex Erickson needs 33 receiving yards to pass Tom McCauley for 19th place, 48 yards to pass Michael Jones for 18th place, 102 yards to pass Mel Reddick for 17th place and 176 yards to pass Jacob Pedersen for 16th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Vince Biegel needs .5 sacks to tie Brendan Kelly for 14th place and 1 to tie and 1.5 to pass Jonathan Welsh for 13th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Drew Meyer needs 182 yards punting to pass Brad Nortman for 4th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Meyer needs 3 punts to pass Sam Veit for 4th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Rafael Gaglianone needs two field goals to tie and three to pass Vince Lamia for 9th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Gaglianone needs three extra points to pass Matt Davenport for 9th place and four to tie and five to pass Vitaly Pisetsky for 8th place on UW's all-time list.
-- Gaglianone needs one more 50+-yard field goal to join Taylor Mehlhaff and Philip Welch as the only to have three FGs from 50+ in Wisconsin history (Mehlhaff 52, 51, 51; Welch 57, 52, 50; Gaglianone 51, 50).
