The life of an athlete is something that most of us regular Joes just can't comprehend.

A writer for the website Elite Daily wanted to get a taste of that life, so he pretended to be an NBA Draft pick on Thursday night.

Connor Toole used his towering 6-foot-10 height and a suit to impersonate a possible draft pick at the Barclays Center.

Before the draft, people wished him luck and stopped him for pictures. After the draft, he threw on a Utah Jazz cap, hit the streets of New York City and lived the life of an NBA rookie.

He sprayed Champagne, took photos at a subway station, did shots at a bar that were on the house, got some phone numbers and planted a kiss on one attractive female.
