BANGALORE, India (AP) Defending World Twenty20 champion Sri Lanka struggled to make 122-9 after being put into bat by West Indies on Sunday.
Sri Lanka stumbled to 47-5 in the ninth over of the Group 1 match at Chinnaswamy Stadium before a partnership worth 44 between Angelo Mathews (20) and Thisara Perera (40).
They took the score to 91 before Mathews was out in an unusual fashion after getting down low for a shot. A full toss from Dwayne Bravo took the edge of his bat for wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin to claim the catch.
