Johnson scored 12 points for Northern Colorado and Anglin and Jeremy Verhagen each chipped in 10.

Yanku finished with 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field and added five rebounds and four assists for the Lumberjacks.

"I was proud of the way they responded after Thursday night and we can build after a game like this," NAU coach Jack Murphy said. "Today the guys played hard and competed the whole way through. We still have to put a full game together to come out on top and that's what we have to work on next."

The Bears outrebounded Northern Arizona 48-26. Northern Colorado collected 14 offensive boards.
