Ryan Getzlaf is one tough dude.

He stopped a slap shot with his face on Wednesday, the puck hitting him in the jaw below the lip.

His brother, Chris, a receiver for the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders, called him a 'warrior' in a recent tweet, in which, he shared a photo of Ryan's stitches from the cut to his face suffered in Anaheim's Game 1 victory over the Stars.

Ryan Getzlaf is expected to play in Friday night's Game 2 vs. Dallas starting at 6:30 p.m. PT on Prime Ticket.

Said Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau, "If I was a player and I saw my captain taking a puck to the face and coming back the next day it would make me do whatever I could to help this team win."
