A club's Goal of the Month competition features one player five times
Hartlepool's Nathan Thomas had a fantastic September, and it's about to get better. That's because he's guaranteed to win the club's Goal of the Month award. How is that possible? Well, as the club's lone goal-scorer for the entire month of September, he is literally the only eligible candidate.
So, with five goals this month and zero from the rest of his teammates, Nathan Thomas will have to fend off Nathan Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Nathan Thomas and Nathan Thomas for the Goal of the Month for September 2016.
My vote is for Thomas, but if you want to get specific, I think Goal C is the frontrunner. Goal D isn't a bad option, but that looks more like a misplaced cross than an actual shot. Either way, at least it's easy enough to know which player will take home the award this month.
