Arsenal draws Bayern Munich in Champions League round of 16
Arsenal's reward for winning its Champions League was being paired with Bayern Munich, while Barcelona drew Paris Saint-Germain in Monday's last-16 draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
Arsenal and Bayern have played each other in the Champions League in 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2015-2016, with Bayern ousting Arsenal from the competition in the former two. Bayern slipping behind Atletico Madrid in their group made it possible for them to be matched again. That headlines the final eight pairings, along with another familiar fixture, PSG and Barcelona. The Spanish champion ousted PSG in the quarterfinals in 2015 en route to the title.
Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund will meet Benfica, while Leicester City will aim to keep its dream run going against Jorge Sampaoli's Sevilla.
