Arsene Wenger has made decision about Arsenal future, but won't say what it is
Arsene Wenger has decided his Arsenal future. The Gunners' boss told reporters after his team's 3-1 loss to West Brom that he's made up his mind ... but, of course, he didn't share what his decision is.
"I know what I will do in my future. You will soon know, very soon," he said.
Wenger's contract at Arsenal expires after the season, although there have been reports that the Gunners have offered him a new deal. The Frenchman certainly hasn't signed whatever contract he has (or has not) been offered, though.
There have been calls from fans that he should let go, with Arsenal humiliated in the Champions League again and unable to compete for the Premier League title. Right now, the Gunners are just trying to finish in the top four, which is not going to be easy as they sit five points back of fourth-place Liverpool with a match in hand. They're also losers of four of their last five in the league, further fueling fan discontent and leading to demonstrations from the supporters demanding he not return next season.
Through it all, Wenger has been relatively quiet. He's said that he will wait to make his decision about next season for months and that he wants to continue managing, be it at Arsenal or elsewhere, but that's as far as he's gone speculating about the future. Now, he's made up his mind. He just doesn't want to tell you what he's decided yet.
