Arsene Wenger says reported two-year deal with PSG is 'fake news'
Arsene Wenger's long tenure at Arsenal might soon be over, but the Frenchman won't tip his hand with regards to his next move. He's already said that he intends to continue managing if leaves the Gunners, so naturally there's been speculation about where he'd wind up.
The latest rumors involve a return to France with a reportedly two-year offer on the table from Paris St. Germain. Wenger was quick to squash that chatter, though.
"It is a false rumor. That is what you call fake news," Wenger said to BeIN Sports. "I formally deny it. It is not true."
He pulled the "fake news" card! Wenger must fancy himself a bit of a politics buff, as the term rose to global prominence during the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.
Last week, Wenger said he had determined his future but wouldn't reveal exactly what it was. He did say he would let the public know "very soon," though. If his word is to be taken at face value, it seems likes he won't be heading to the Parc des Princes.
